It is such an honor to be published in Moment Junkie, a blog dedicated to showcase the best of wedding photojournalism in the world. They publish daily one image from a different photographer and they are each unique and full of emotions. I love my posed photography work, but unscripted moments is by far my favorite style of photography. When you are there with your camera at the right place, at the right time, you click that shutter button and you know you got the shot. That is an amazing feeling and one that I strive to achieve at every wedding. I do believe I have become a moment junkie.

The first shot was published back in July 14th, 2012. It’s from Katie & Ryan’s wedding, mother got full of emotions while holding the mirror for her daughter. Sometimes I capture some of the most emotional moments during the getting ready part of the day. It can’t be easy for a parent watching their daughter transform into a bride knowing she will walk down the isle in just a few hours.

The next image was taken at Linsey & Aaron’s wedding. It was during the getting ready moments that I caught this unique perspective of Linsey putting her bridal dress on. It was a pretty difficult task that took the help of her mother, sister and bridesmaid. The opportunity for me to capture this kind of moment is very rare, being a guy means being asked to step out while the bride puts on the dress. So I really only get the shots of mom zipping/lacing up the dress. Very thrilled that this shot made it in Moment Junkie. This one was published on September 28th, 2012.
