Cleveland Science Center Wedding- Clarissa and Rickey

Clarissa and Rickey’s wedding day was incredibly meaningful. At the age of 18, Rickey was wrongfully accused of a crime and was prisoned for 39 years with a death sentence. A young witness at the time was pressured by the authorities to single Rickey out and young Rickey’s life was taken away from him. A group dedicated to help innocent incarcerated men opened his case back up and Rickey was finally free. Free to a strange world that was much different that he remembered. But he was finally able to start his life, and he found love. I’ve seen many groom’s reactions when witnessing their bride walking down the isle. That look was different for him, you could see the whole story in his eyes, the way he looked at her with tears dropping from his eyes. This was a wonderful new beginning, the beginning of life. The man never lost hope, and was rewarded by freedom and love. This wedding was absolute amazing in every way, I feel incredibly honored to have captured it. You can read his story here.

The eventful day started with getting ready at Metropolitan at the 9, portraits around the area and the Browns Stadium and Ceremony/ Reception at the Great Lakes Science Center.
