Ariel Pearl International Cleveland Wedding- Chelsey & Matt

To say that I absolutely love Chelsey & Matt is an understatement. I adore these two,  had the pleasure of meeting them back in 2014 at Matt’s sister’s wedding and reunited once again for Amanda and Don’s wedding. So when it came time for their wedding it was no brainer that I was going to be there to capture it all. It’s so awesome when families hire me over and over for weddings, it’s always such a fun reunion with everyone. I’m no longer referred as Mr. Photographer, it’s more of ” hey it’s Edric!!!”. This wedding took place at a Cleveland historical building, Ariel Pearl International. A bank that was transformed into a venue, a trend that I’ve seen happen more and more to historical bank buildings in the Cleveland area. Personally, I think it’s so cool. These buildings are just gorgeous.

For the getting ready part of the day, Chelsey and Matt went the untraditional route and decided to get ready together in the deposit safe room. I think it adds another level when a bride and groom help each other get dressed to later tie the knot. Why not spent arguably the most important day of their life’s  together from start to finish. And it gives a chance to capture moments you never see at weddings. For portraits we headed to an abandoned warehouse just outside if downtown Cleveland. While there, there was also another photographer doing commercial photos for a sports vehicle and a model doing some epic backflips. We decided to join forces and create a very non traditional wedding image.

The ceremony and reception was absolutely gorgeous, all decorations were done by family members. The theme was focused on Chelsey and Matt’s love for literature. They did a fantastic job with everything! This is one of those weddings I wish I could photograph over and over again. I even included a selfie I took with Chelsey and Matt in this post!
