Jess & Michael just shine in front of the lens. Their love shows in every frame! We went on an adventure together. At first I was going to meet them at E 4th in downtown Cleveland, but at the last minute I changed my mind. I’ve been at that location so many times. I asked them to drop by my home, I hopped in the car with them and we headed to Lakewood Park. Lakewood Park is part of my neighborhood and a place that my family and I have visited plenty. With the new renovations, it is the perfect spot to grab some photos. We did finish our session in downtown with a lovely sunset caressing the Cleveland Skyline.
This time I went very light with my equipment. I left my Nikon gear at home and shot the images using the Fujifilm X-T1 and brought along some very impressive Fujinon Prime lenses including the 23mm f1.4, 35mm f2 and the super sharp 56mm f1.2. The fuji camera has been my personal camera for a few years and now that I have more glass for the system I am very excited with it. The camera dials and layout feels very much like my film camera days. I am so happy with the images and I cannot wait to capture Jess & Michael’s wedding day next year.
