All of my weddings this year have come from previous brides from the 2009 season. No advertising folks!! Which has led to more gigs not related to weddings. For instance, below is April and Chris,

they found me while looking at a potential photographer for their wedding on his flickr friend. I was a contact of a contact of that photographer and somehow they found me. Months passed and I photographed their wedding. Few more months go by and one of her bridesmaid contacts me to shoot family portraits down by the  Columbus Ohio area.

Little bit later a student at the school that Chris works as a teacher saw the wedding album and contacted me to do senior portraits.

After that, Beth, a friend of April’s contacted me because she absolutely loved the way I captured her friends wedding and wanted me to capture her wedding. Which by the way I am really looking forward to. And now I will be doing all head shots for the school drama club (that’s where Chris teaches at). Wooo!! This is all so amazing. Word of Mouth… Gotta Love it!!

Next month I will be a dad, both Mindy and I cannot wait for that moment to happen. It really seems like she’s been pregnant FOREVER. I’m really not complaining, just saying that I miss old Mindy:) When I was growing up I always wondered what my kids would be like. Will they be artistic like me? I hope so. But I rather hope that they are smart, as much as I enjoy art, I think I would be better of being a doctor or something smart like that. The term starving artist is a harsh reality. But I guess the world needs that balance. I just hope I do a good job as a daddy and give my kids a good childhood. It’s a very scary thought, the world we live in doesn’t make it easy to be a parent. Too much corruption going around. All we can do is take it one day at a time and hope for the best.

Do you have any idea how hard it is to pick baby names, especially for twins!! We are having the hardest time deciding the names for our boy and girl. If you have any ideas please feel free to share.

Don’t worry I will definitely post some photos soon of the wife at eight months:)

The fact that so many of you trusted me to capture your wedding, when I had little to show brings so much appreciation to my heart. I have learned so much about photography, business, and friendship. 2009 will always be remembered. Love you all very much, thanks for believing in EM Event Photography. I hope that our relationship will go further than business, please know that you are all my friends. Who knows, maybe someday I will be capturing your daughters/sons wedding.

Just remember that marriage takes effort and love to make it work. Don’t ever give up!! Always remember why you fell in love. Trust me, I know. My first year of marriage was thought. But I am so glad we worked thru it. And now we are going to be parents very soon:) I love my wife Mindy Very much.
