Ok, here it is!! Many of you have spoken on social media and because of it I’m having the first annual Valentines 1+1=love portrait marathon this Sunday, February 12th!! I’m hoping it turns out to be a great day! What am I looking for? Awesome couples who are in love! Then, on February 14th I will have a contest for those that are fans of my Facebook page. There will be a blog post that day featuring one image from each couple with their name. Then I will take a poll on my Facebook page and have people vote for their favorite. To start the year I like to take time to look back at the amazing year I had. It truly was an adventure. I cannot wait to see what 2011 brings for me. EM Event photography is very proud and thankful for all my past clients and all the support that I got. I really can’t complain much. 2010 will always be in my memories, it is the year I became a dad after all. Life keeps changing, so I look forward with my Camera held up high. Cheers to a New Year!!!

I got to spend a really fun time taking engagement photos. The wedding is this Saturday, October 30th and I’m very happy to capture that for them.

Fall is by far one of my favorite seasons. The colors alone are enough of a reason:) So Melissa and Andy celebrate their Engagement with a lovely Session at the metroparks. The oranges and yellows from the falling leaves blended really well with the morning sun and love filled the October skies.

This past weekend I had pleasure to photograph Shaleigha and Eric’s wedding at the Club Hillbrook, Chagrin Falls. This isolated mansion held the gathering of family and friends to witness two amazing individuals dedicate their lives to each other. It was like being in a movie setting. All the details where amazingly elegant, the flowers are made by Miklus Florist and I gotta admit that the bouquet is one of the most beautiful I’ve seen. They also made all the center pieces that adorned the tables at the reception.  Shaleigha and Eric really outdid themselves for their wedding. Wow! Just wow!

Weather did not stop the elegant couple from tying the knot on one of the beautiful gardens that the Botanical Gardens have  to offer. Very elegant and sharp, yet simple. This wedding was lovely in every way.

This past Saturday I had the honor of photographing a very simple, yet elegant wedding at University Circle. Sandy and Tony tied the knot at the duck pond behind the Cleveland Museum of Art along with a small gathering of close friends and family. The ceremony was beautiful, full of joy, laughter and tears. Towards the end of the ceremony, they even had a visit from the random shirtless man walking his dog. Too funny The reception took place at the historical Alumni House at Case Western Reserve University.  This place was AMAZING. I even had the pleasure of witnessing Tony jam some tunes with his band members.

This engagement session with Tyrina and Ron was just too much fun! I know for a fact that they were really looking forward for this shoot. Ron would call me multiple time talking about it and how excited they are. That really makes me appreciate my job even more. Seeing what images could mean to a couple is priceless. We decided to do the shoot at sunrise. On my way there I was not being so good and I got pulled over for speeding. Now the honest truth is that I was trying to beat the sun. Ron and Tyrina actually suggested that we reschedule the session. I said ” No way!! We’ve been waiting too long for this day”. And the session went on to be an amazing set of images. There is one word that can describe this shoot….. Hotness!!
