Ok, here it is!! Many of you have spoken on social media and because of it I’m having the first annual Valentines 1+1=love portrait marathon this Sunday, February 12th!! I’m hoping it turns out to be a great day! What am I looking for? Awesome couples who are in love! Then, on February 14th I will have a contest for those that are fans of my Facebook page. There will be a blog post that day featuring one image from each couple with their name. Then I will take a poll on my Facebook page and have people vote for their favorite. Voting closes at 11:59pm on February 14th. I’ve got three prizes to give away! $50 gift card to Victoria Secrets, $25 gift card to Bath & Body works, $10 gift card to Target. So recently on Facebook in my business page I threw out there the idea of doing something special for valentines day. Based on the number of likes I decided to have a valentines couple portrait day. More details to come about that, the only thing I have planed so far is the date(February 12th) and the plan is to have 14 minute sessions for $14.

But where will I have it? The idea is to do the sessions outside, hoping that the weather loves love and we have a great awesome day like today! I decided to scout some locations and came across Whiskey Island by downtown Cleveland. The location is kinda buried, if you’ve been to Edgewater, you go right instead of left at the entrance and keep on driving till the end of the road. Speaking of road… It was a disaster!! I lost count at the number of potholes. I was thinking to do the sessions at this location prior to visiting, first time here. It is a cool location, don’t get me wrong, but it’s not going to work for the valentines couple portraits. However, I will definitely come back for some Engagement Sessions in the future. But to hang out all day waiting for 20something couples? Nah.. So I’m gearing more towards a location that is more familiar and easier to get for everyone. I will be posting later about details.

The first half of this lovely engagement session took place at the flats of the city of Cleveland. Then we went to the very elegant Velvet Tango Room near Ohio city. And I usually pass on having a drink while at work but when they offered I just couldn’t pass, the cocktail selection looked amazing. And having the privilege to have such nice company was a big plus If you ever get the urge to have a few drinks with a touch of sophistication  please visit the Velvet Tango Room. You will not regret it, they have live music and the place was jumping on a wednesday!!

What do you do when the rain just won’t go away!? You take the session indoors. This session took place at Cleveland’s Botanical Gardens, University Circle.

This Engagement Session was  my excuse to explore and scout some locations. I’ve came across some really cool spots that might not be new to others but definitely new to me.

On Friday, March 18th, 2011, the world welcomed my niece Solangel Isabela Morales. I don’t think I have ever seen my sister Almarie so happy before. It was a dream come true! Congrats sis! I know you will be the greatest mommy
