Cleveland Wedding Memories, Selina & Kyle

It was a surreal experience to be there to capture Selina & Kyle’s wedding day. I have known Selina since she was just a young lady attending Cleveland School of the Arts. She was in the same classroom with me when I first started learning about photography and appeared in some of my short films. So I was so honored to be even asked to photograph the most important day of their life. And her now husband Kyle, is such an amazing person, what a gentleman. Because of their religious faith, Selina & Kyle made a vow to never kiss until their wedding day. It was one of the most beautiful ceremony kiss that I have ever witnessed. The look on their faces during the entire day just screamed love.

Wedding at Brennan’s, Cleveland, OH- Barb & Tony

A big congratulations to Barb and Tony who tied the knot this past Saturday in Cleveland, OH. The ceremony took place in St Stephens, followed by reception at Brennan’s. It was really a perfect day with the lovely couple and their little daughter was incredibly cute. They make such a beautiful family!

Wedding at Lantern Court, Holden Arboretum, Becky & Tom

It was an honor to capture such an awesome fun wedding of Becky and Tom. Both ceremony and reception took place at Lantern Court Mansion at the Holden Arboretum. The beautiful interior of this place was filled with endless photo opportunities. The snow and bad weather in late April could not interfere with what turned out to be a very memorable day. Even Kermit the Frog made a few appearances. Bride’s makeup by Monique Hann. Bridal bunny shoes by the Bride.

Downtown Cleveland Engagement Session- Meghan & Adam

Downtown Cleveland is probably one of my favorite spots to shoot. I’m a big time sucker for architecture, lines and patterns. And no matter how many times I visit cleveland locations I always seem to find something new. It was awesome to get to explore this city with Meghan and Adam this past Sunday. I seriously cannot wait till the wedding date!

What a way to start off your season! It was amazing to capture Andrea & Jeff’s civil ceremony. This is my first time doing a civil ceremony so I was super exited when Andrea contacted me. Their love felt so real and the story of how they found love countries apart is like a fairy tale.

1+1=Love 2013 in Ohio City

Hello everyone, welcome to the second annual 1+1=love valentines mini sessions. Last year I started what I hope will become a tradition for many, 14 minute sessions for $14. It’s all about celebrating love and posing with your sweetheart in front of my camera. Valentines day is probably the holiday that will receive the most attention from my business. Love is the foundation of EM Event Photography. Couples falling in love is what keeps allowing me to do my passion and my art. So this is me giving back the love that you all shared for me.

Today only, there will be a competition going on my Facebook business page from 12pm to 11:59pm. The names of the couples that participated in the 2nd annual 1+1=Love mini sessions will be put on a ballot for a chance to win three awesome prizes. All you have to do is check out the awesome images below and pick your favorite couple, then head over and click on the name of the couple. So take a look at all the Lovely couples and go vote. Winter Engagement Session with Jessica and Michael

So excited to share a few images from my very cold session with Jessica and Michael. Jessica made a special request to have the engagement pics taken when the snow covered the ground. We already cancelled once because the snow melted by the time the date came close. But as soon as we go hit with snow again I immediately contact her. Many are scared to have an outdoor session in the winter, but I very much enjoy shooting with snow on the ground. The reflection from the snow makes for beutiful soft lighting. The flesh tones and colors are fantastic. And to make this even better, I had the chance to try out my brand new Nikon D600. Absolute in love with this camera, although I must admit that I have fallen in love with all my previous cameras. One thing that really impresses me is the quality of the image files, it was a blast editing. Thinking about doing a mini review. But for now I hope you enjoy the following images. I can’t wait to meet these two again at their wedding.

2nd Annual 1+1=Love Valentine’s Mini Sessions

It’s that time of the year again! I’m very excited to do this again, last year was a blast!

Join us to the 2nd annual 1+1=Love Valentine’s Mini Sessions at Market Square Park right across from the West Side Market in the Ohio City area.

Sunday February 10th from 8:30am-12pm and 2:00pm to 5:30pm. 14 minute session, $14.

Everyone that books their session will automatically be entered in a competition on our business page to win three awesome prices. It will be up for vote February 14th from 12pm-Midnight.

Looking back at the year 2012

Putting together this post made me realize just how lucky I am to know so many great people. The year 2012 was an amazing journey filled with unforgettable moments. I want to thank all of my clients, fellow photographers and many wedding vendors in Northeast Ohio for being fantastic. You have all made this year a great one!

So looking forward to see what 2013 has in store for EM Event Photography. Raise your glasses and have a happy new year!! Cleveland rocks!!!
