Chapin Forest Winter Engagement- Sarah & Ankur

This was an unexpected adventure! We never set a date to do their Engagement Session. Ankur called me on a Sunday morning and asked if I would be able to do the session that day. At first I was hesitant because I usually need some time to prepare for a session. But then I looked out the window and the snow looked magical. I couldn’t turn down this opportunity! I felt like a little kid going downstairs to ask my wife if could go out and play. Besides, my equipment was pretty much ready from my shoot the day before. We met at Chapin Forest Reservation in Kirtland, OH. They have this amazing cross country ski trail and it was a perfect setting for Sarah and Ankur’s engagement session. I really had fun with this one. Very fund of the last image, it looks like a black and white image with selective coloring. It wasn’t, it was a trick I did using off camera lighting and under exposing the snow background. And a huge plus that she wore the red coat, it really makes them stand out.
